At Tangent Motion Pictures we will pitch our tripod before dawn and hope to film a few seconds of an elusive urban coyote. We will drive across the province to film an interview as events unfold. In some cases, we will follow a story for years, filming every development until we are satisfied we’ve got the ending.

    TMP was launched in 2013 as a vehicle for journalists and filmmakers to create and distribute their work through in-depth, character driven documentaries. The stories we tell look at big issues such as urban wildlife, immigrant integration, or wheelchair accessibility through the lens of individual people.
